Hi,
Your high BS and how it is treated will very much depend on what is the primary cause, fir example if it were a high fat content meal, or emotion or weather for me there would be no change in BS for several hrs. If it were a straight carbo causing the high BS then you should get your own calibration. Some people would have you think 30% insulin is used the 1st hr and 30% the need hr.... There is lots of people who don't obey this rule as the homulog tech says It depends on the "individual,...time etc.
