I usually do a similar workout in the mornings.  For me, YMMV, I don't
reduce my basal and I need to bolus when I lift weights.  You might notice
that your bs goes high (way high sometimes) after you lift weights.  This is
because of adrenaline and glucose being released to help the muscles get the
energy they need.  I usually bolus 2 units right before I start the weights.
