Well the formula I followed was individualised for me.   I took my daily
total of insulin and divided that in half, then took the lesser figure and
divided that by 24. this gave me my units per hour.

Yours would be different than mine, but that's for the saline.  When I went
LIVE, a CDE did help me out by checking my trends for the day, so that I had
less basal in the afternoon and more at the morning hours as needed by me.

If you pump too much saline, some folks find it irretating in their skin, so
I tried to stay 'true to life'.
