J.D. and I flew in Augugst.  He did not have to turn his pump off. He did
wait until the sign went off before he tested though.  He had no problems
going through the security gates.  He did get something from his doctor
stating that he was on the pump just in case he did set it off.

Because airplanes always ask you to turn off pagers and
cellphones and stuff, do you have to turn off your pump? (doesn't
the newer MM have a remote?)
