Re: [IP] Re: silhouette vs soft set

Janine, I have this problem occasionally with the Sof-set QR. What happens
is my tissue sometimes moves so much that the cannula pulls out of the skin
and lays on top. Only after the BS is quite out of control do I realize this
has happened. I have had some success using the "stronger" of the two tapes
included with the infusion sets, but find that one much harder to remove. I
believe that much of the reason this happens to me is my weight gain since
going on the pump (25 lbs in 2 years) and my abdomen being the problem area.
I have also had some success putting the infusion set in my thigh area
(great absorption here, but again the tape has a hard time with all the
tissue movement). However, not as much fat tissue here and therefore I don't
get the "pull-out" problem like I do with the abdomen.
