The FastTake does test Plasma, I don't recall what my DR. told me regarding
more accurate readings, I want to say that he told me that there was a
percentage rate of difference (of course) and that the FastTake is more
accurate on the lower BG side that is, if you were to use a FastTake and
another non-plasma meter at the same time your reading from the FastTake
will be lower than the other meter.  Please be sure to double check with
your DR. or a LifeScan Rep.  Hope that helps.  Again, I highly recomment the
FastTake.
