Re: [IP] Didn't know you were diabetic

I'm in total agreement with what you are telling us all. J.Q. public has no
idea what diabetes is because of the many articles like Newsweek have
carried. This type of understanding does little to help anyone help to find
a cure of this disease we are now dealing with people that will always think
they know more about the disease that we the people that have to deal with
it on a 365 day basis. And I for one is now telling all to start getting
with it and lets get real outspoken and even quite loud that is what I'm
saying for all on this list is to take all the chances to get our cause out.
We may need to push everyone until it really hurts those that we come into
connect with and won't let up until our demands are being address in a
government forum with the health agencies push to a wall as I will put.
They need to get off their butts and do their job. Also ADA and other
organizations that have an interest in getting funding and can lead to a
cure. Like you said we need to have a tidal wave that can flood their boats
then the action will start. Just my idea.

still telling anyone that wants to listen.
