Re: [IP] Diabetes Horrible

Hi Jen,
I once read that divorce rate is higher with diabetics-who knows. However
as far as your ex-spouse not doing a thing for you-Your right he did cop out
on you. He was weak and lacked understanding. I believe in a loving
relationship you take care of each other no matter what-and we take the good
with the bad at all times trying to take each others feelings into
consideration.

I simply dismiss the DEAL WITH IT PEOPLE and choose not to make any
contact-life's to short. How ignorant of them to assume they know how
someone else is feeling. When I was first dx's as a diabetic I though there
was something terribly wrong with me as a person because I had no support
and (I ALLOWED my endo to make me feel I wasn't handling it and it was easy
to handle. This is why I'm so grateful to have found this site-I now know
that I'm not alone in my feelings. We have enough on our plates to allow
ourselves to feel we have to explain ourselves to anyone. (I do have to
work on this because I always find myself saying "They just don't
understand" and it hurts to know they never will)
By the way tedious is an excellent choice of words. Hang in there-your very
important.
Take Care
Carol Teal
