[IP] Kids' Problems with testing in school

ONe thing that may help is to remind them that most of us diag before bg
testing was invented had to take a chemistry set to school and a can and
pee in the can in front of the others at recess each day. (In the
washroom of course). Then do a 5 minute boil for the test results, which
we know now told us nothing anyway.

In addition it seems most schools now will let diabetic kids use the
washrrom when they have to. Back in the good ol' days we had to endure
hours of pain until the washroom break. Many of us frequently didn't make
it. Back then good control was being on one injection per day and staying
out of DKA for more than 24 hours at a time!
