MM 508 Manual, page 83
"your MiniMed pump uses three 1.5 volt silver oxide batteries.
For best results use MiniMed Model 104 batteries. These batteries are
available only through MiniMed. You may also use EverReady model 357 or
equivalent batteries; however results may vary."
