I have a Disetronic. Haven't had to call support once. Didn't need it.
I know it's there but it's been unnecessary thus far.
Why would you want a product you need a lot of support on?
I think you're pretty much safe either way you go. The Disetronic is
built like a rock but the mini-med is prettier.. I think it's kind of like
the Disetronic is an IBM and the minimed is a Mac where it comes in
all these flavors but you can't eat it if you get hungry. I have enough
temptations as it is.
The support thing is like saying.. Yeah. This software has really great error
messages.. The best in the industry. Yeah, they're great, but do you really
want to get error messages at all? How bout the thing just work all the time?
I'm teasing a bit, of course. Like I said, either one you are not going to be
kicking yourself, but you might kick yourself that you didn't get it sooner : )

This is exactly why I went with Minimed. "Support" is sooo important! Ive
been pumping with my Minimed 507C almost three weeks and Ive called their
24-hour support line 4 times already. I have not hesitated calling and its
so comforting to know that I can call anytime day or night when I have
