[IP] Pizza for dinner/Mom/Jane

I have eaten both Chinese and pizza, and had NO problems, but I am
considered a bass-ackwards diabetic! <vbg>
I take one unit of humalog for one piece of pizza, and thats it, no duals or
squares, and my bg does not rise in the night. We eat a pizza from
Bambino's pizza shop, am unsure if a nationwide chain, but its the only
local pizza shop worth eating at here in my tiny town.
Chinese food: we ate at the Chinese buffet, where you pig out on it all!
The first time after getting my pump (6/2/99), we ate there and I had no
idea what to bolus, so I did it one unit per plate full of food, and my
sugar was too low after!! So, next time, it was .8 for every plate, and I
was fine, no highs later or anything. On MDI, I almost couldn't eat
Chinese, and wow I love the stuff!
Good luck, and let us know what happens with Mom!

OK, my CDE says pizza and Chinese are hard to do for diabetics - when I
mentioned that they were HARD for me - she said NO, they'rre hard for
