My nearsightedness has improved markedly during my time on the pump -- my 
latest prescription was almost 2 diopters less than my old one.  It seems to 
be still changing  slowly, after a year on the pump.  My HA1c's have only 
improved slightly on the pump (they were in normal range already), but the 
"excursions" have been limited.  Neither the optometrist nor the retinal 
specialist had an explanation for it.
