Gianna, thanks so much for your post.  It is very frustrating when my son's 
father calls me from a restaurant to ask me how many carbs a meal has (after 
1-1/2 years of carb counting) or what to set basals at.  I've bought him 
books to read but he doesn't get around to it.  Easier to call me, I guess.  
And I'm afraid if I say anything, he'll stop asking and just do it on his 
own, without intelligence <g>.
