Wendy,
I have only had one infection so far, but I did need antibiotics for it, the
Dr told me that we have to be really careful, that the infection can
"travel" from the infected spot over to the new site.  While the infection
may look localized, it is still in your bloodstream and system, and can
easily migrate to your next sites, so watch it carefully, and if it looks
like it is getting any worse, call the Dr!
