Re: [IP] Crimping-what of it?


Occasionally Megan will get crimping of the cannula due to lots of activity
and placement too close to the muscle wall. She is very thin! WE use the upper
hip area. Once she had bleeding into the cannula also but her dinner bolus
pushed it our and we did not change the set until the next day. It was fine.
Make sure if you are using the Sils or Comforts etc that you are using a
fairly shallow angle of insetion.
