[IP] Police and Hypos
- Subject: [IP] Police and Hypos

I saw a policeman twice this weekend and after the
response Sara got from New York policeman, asked both
about checking for Medic Alert bracelets when they
think someone is drunk. They said that if someone
is unconsious they call for EMT's if they are not
already there. If someone is consious they ask if
they are diabetic or have any other health problems
that could make them appear drunk when they are not.
The second policeman was young (mid 20's) and said
he was taught at the academy that hypos cannot be
left untreated. I was impressed.
A very happy pumper for 4 1/2 weeks!
