I can't help but wonder if you aren't onto something in regards to your
doctor promoting one thing or another. I have long suspicioned this in
regards to my own dealings with various doctors over the years. It sounds
to me like you handled things quite well in not letting them push you
into/onto something that you probably didn't need to change anyway. I think
it is important for all us to take a proactive approach in dealing with
diabetes and not act like a "guinea pig" for these pharmaceutical companies.
I applaud you standing up to this doctor and not allowing him to push you
around. He may have second thoughts in regards to dealing with you in the
future regarding unnecessary medical changes. I tip my hat to you!!!!!
