Yes, Valerie.   It has happened to other people.  But look at the 
issue this way, if this were a car, would you "glue brake pads" back 
on if they fell off?  Would the car company warranty this if it were 
involved in an accident?

The ONLY solution is to get a replacement pump.   No Question!!!!
