I changed from a Lantus/Humalog routine, read Pumping Insulin by John Walsh
prior to getting my pump, and it only took about 2 weeks, if that, to get my
basals programmed correctly. I think the more intense you are about testing
and such, i.e. going without meals and getting up during the night, the
quicker you can get it regulated.

How long does it take to get your basel rates adjusted ? I am on the 512
pump the last 6 weeks and still haven got any stable rates yet . my health
care worker seems to be a little nervous when given advice  thank you melvin
