Re: [IP] Re: old MM bill and now Animas

I just received a bill for $116.52 from Animas for supplies which are
marked with "Contracted Insurance Payment." I called my Insurance company
and they verified that "Contracted Insurance Payment" means that is what
Animas agreed to accept for pump supplies.

I called Animas and spoke with Yolanda. She interprets it to mean that the
insurance company paid 80% and I was liable for 20% In the conversation,
she made me feel like a deadbeat!

I called my insurance company again and was told the same thing. That is,
the insurance company paid the contracted amount and that I should not be
liable for any thing. They are sending me an EOB form to fax to Animas that
shows that I am right.

Looks like everyone is jumping into the money pool these days!

Focus on the journey, not the destination. Joy is found not in
finishing an activity but in doing it.
