[IP] Re: losing weight

Exercise increases your insulin sensitivity. Not only do you burn more sugar when you're working out, but it also increases and builds the insulin receptors in the cells of your body, making you more sensitive, so you require less. Also, you can have delayed hypoglycemia after exercise, especially with weight training. If you're building muscle and losing fat, you may not notice a big difference in your weight, because muscle weighs more than fat. You know you're improving your body by the inches you've lost and the way your clothes fit. Sometimes a large change on the scale is only an indicator of how much water weight or muscle you've lost, not fat. I don't know what you're eating, but healthier foods and lower carbs require less insulin also. Keep up the good work!
