My son doesn't mind testing at all.  He does seem to mind high blood sugars
and low blood sugars which both make him feel like crap.  Good news though.
There's this great new thing to help manage diabetes - blood glucose testing
(sarcasm intended).  We use it.  He feels good.  Life is happy.  As a matter
of fact, I am constantly told by others what a remarkably happy person he
is. YMMV.  You really shouldn't judge other people's parenting.
