I'm glad that everyone does NOT share your view as if they did we would all
just give up and there would have never been the discovery of antibiotics or
insulin or vaccines, etc, etc....

YOu can't give up!!!  OUr kids can't give up on diabetes and we can't
either.  Polymer coat the new islet cells so that can't be invaded....who
knows !  There may be an answer out there that we don't even know is there,
but we HAVE to keep on trying.
