well I don't know the laws about selling used devices, but it doesn't 
seem to be very illegal, or illegal enough for anyone to worry about. 
You also can buy pump catheters on ebay, for which you need a 
prescription in some states.  And i I suspect there are lots of other 
things being sold that are not quite kosher.  Ebay doesn't really 
care, though they do restrict firearms.

Is this even legal?  My insulin pump has a notice in it that says:
Federal (USA) law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of 
a physician."
