Re: [IP] bent cannulas



Dear Julie,
  My 8 year old daughter uses the paradigm with 9mm quicksets.  Until
yesterday, we had no problems.  But, like you, we ended up changing the site
4 times in 24 hours, had high sugars.  The first time it was a regular
scheduled  site change, then she pulled her site out in her sleep, then the
canola was kinked, then she pulled the site out again.    Long day and lots
of high sugars.  I feel for you with the kinked canola.  It does happen
occasionally.  Someone mentioned stretching the skin when you insert.  We
have been doing that.  Good luck, and don't give up.
