Hello,
MM has a plastic enclosure that can be used while swiming. This should do the job. As far as protection of the site-using a 1v3000 on the skin before the site is started, this will keep the dirt from going along the skin and into the site. More iv3000 can be added overall to prevent. Worst come a large gause bandage can be put over the entire site.
