Hi Sherry,

As I recall, a bottle of regular (no prescription required) is about 
15 bucks at the pharmacy. You can shoot it right into the set 
(carefully of course). Talk to your doc, but for Lily a shot every 4 
- 5 hours covered basals nicely during a 3 day stint with no pump.
That means only one wake up in the night and NO NPH. meal bolus's can 
be shot into a cannula as well. If you don't want to hassle with 
figuring out how much residual R or H is left in the cannula, just 
use two.
