Re: [IP] Question about Pump in Las Vegas Casinos

Beth - HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I recently relocated from Las Vegas so I think I can anwser your question. I never had a problem with my pump in Vegas. The only time I was ever questioned was during a major wine tasting event at Balleys - the security guard came over and questioned whether I was allright when he saw me testing. I told him YES - and I intended to keep it that way - hence the test - I was right out in the middle of the room - I went to the corner for the other tests so as not to alarm them again.

One thing that was great that happened to me was on my birthday - we went to the Voodoo Cafe - on the top of the Rio (one of my fav places) I had champagne (my doc lets me have a glass of wine with dinner) - the waiter saw me test and bolus - and so when dessert time came he asked if I would like a second glass of champagne instead of their customary Bananas Foster to celebrate - and Of course I said yes - so maybe the same will work for you.

The major buffets at hotels are generally manageable - if you are careful - many even have sugar free desserts that are sometimes edible - but I usually will just have a bite of whatever my hubby has.

My fav shows are Mystere (cirque du solei) at Treasure Island, EFX at MGM (Rick Springfield is getting GREAT reviews - I saw it with David Cassidy), and the Blue Man Group at the Luxor. Have a great time and let us know how it goes.

If I can be of anymore service please feel free to email me.
