I found the trade off of 5-6 injections per day -vs- one set
change every 3 days to be a good trade off.  The needles on
the sil's are a bit daunting at first, but not bad once one
gets used to them.  Depending on which infusion set I use,
the MM softserter is nearly painless and the mechanism is so
fast that one hardly knows what happened.  If MM releases
the softserter for the sil's that will help.

Another trade off is finding sites.  If your child does
multiple daily injections, you can run out of sites quickly.
Infusion sets still need to be rotated, but with a change
every few days, more options remain.
