I bought a portable Tanita scale several years ago from an Internet
supplier: www.balances.com. They have a similar portable model shown at
//www.balances.com/tanita/tanita1479.html#scale. They primary decision
factors for a specific scale include what range of weights you want, grams
vs ounces (or both), and intended place of use. I got a portable, pocket
sized model so I could weight portions at restaurants...
