Another idea for the pump and formal dresses...
Although I haven't tried this myself...
If you can't hide it inside the dress, why not try outside.  Make a little
pouch out of similar material to your dress and pin it to the outside.
This way the dress stays slinky and the pump can enjoy the view. :)

p.s. On a sillier note, make a necklace out of the tubing and hang it 
from your neck, that way you have a nice focal point to show off the
low cut neckline.  <lol>

if you don't wear pantyhose....you can buy at walgreen's or walmart in the
bandage section, a stretchy knee brace thing that people wear to support bad
knees.  you can get a size that will fit your thigh and stick the bare pump
in that.  ACE makes it.  they come in flesh, white and maybe black.  

The gown I am wearing
is very tight and low cut.  Where to wear my pump is the question
