Maybe you're coming to the end of your honeymoon period -- it's NORMAL
for insulin needs to go up when the last of the beta cells finally bite
the dust!

Control during the honeymoon period is much easier than when full-blown
DM hits (sorry to tell you that!), but that's reality.

So don't feel bad if you're taking more insulin than you used to -- it's
just that your own body was previously supplying some of your needs and
it can't do it any more, so you're just having to make up for it with
more insulin from your pump.
