Teresa, there is NOTHING wrong with you!!!!!!  If your basal is at that
level, it means that's the amount of insulin you need -- it's not an
excessively large amount!!! And the fact that your sugars stay pretty
level is WONDERFUL!!!  :) 

There are normal variations in insulin-resistance among people -- it's
not an either/or thing, but rather a bell-shaped curve. There are a few
who are EXTREMELY sensitive, and a few who are extremely resistant, but
most of us fall somewhere in the middle. Which is where you are. 

As long as you can keep your BGs under good control, you're sitting
pretty, so keep up the good work and don't worry!
