I think, if you are paying a single dime out of your own pocket, you 
should call Minimed and create a big stink.

It is YOUR equipment, after all.  Not the docs.

What if it gets lost or stolen or damaged at the office? Who will 
replace it? I assure you your health insurance company will not.
