[IP] Did you have to do all this STUFF before pumping? Im MAD!!!

Here is Liz's (14 y/o) regimen before starting on the pump:
Two weeks pre-pump: Keep track of all carbs eaten and total for each meal.
Assuming a carb/insulin ration of 15:1, figure out what each meal bolus
would be.
Two days pre-pump: Learn insertion process and test run with saline. (She
took it out after one day because the saline caused a burning sensation.)
Pump day: Start Pumping with humalog. Spent one and a half days in the
hospital until basals were confirmed.
At the time, Liz was only the 4th (and youngest) patient that her endo put
on the pump. It may have been a little bit easier for her re: carb counting
since she had been doing that for almost 3 years.
