Re: [IP] on pump for 24 hours



Clearly  your basal rates or insulin:cho ratio is off.  If you've had four
in one day, some adjusting needs to be done.  If your endo said this to
you - one suggestion - dump her.  There is absolutely no excuse for that.
Anytime a new patient is begun on a pump, an endo/CDE should incist on daily
phone follow-up.  If she did not have time to speak with you at that moment,
she should have taken your number and phoned when convenient for both of
you.  If you have a major low (God forbid) and hurt yourself in the process,
your endo has set himself up for a law suit.
