[IP] Diabetes and Ketones

I was told that the difference in being type 1 or type 2 is whether you 
produce ketones when high or not.   I was dx with a word I can't pronounce 
something like "acidketatoses"  meaning high ketones being produced. 
 Sorry, spell check doesn't have these spellings and I am too lazy to go to 
the diabetes site and look.
Anyone else here this?
