It's what the stats show. Now, depending upon whether or not you believe the 
stats...And also, the docs I got this from are tip-top. I beliee it, but at 
the same time, know there's no guarantee. But if you are on a pump, get 
decent or good control and are a long way out without complications at this 
point, your chances are good. Problem is, any of us could be killed by a bus 
tomorrow. Wonder what the stats are on that?

I have no major complications and have been a diabetic for 35 yrs and have
never heard of the longer you go wlithout the more likely you are not to
develop them. I really hope that it is true but I will not bet on it.
