Yes. If they do the albumin screening and it says "negative" or "normal," 
there's no compelling need to do the 24 hour thing. My creatinine bumped 
upward slightly, still well within the normal range, but my albumin was 
still negative. Changes beyond the normal range of albumin indicate kidney 
damage before it truly shows up in creatinine.
