    They come up with it from NOT having to LIVE with diabetes 24/7....If 
they did, they'd see that their naive misperception couldn't be further from 
the truth....What they all fail to grasp is that YES, doing a shot takes only 
a few minutes of your TIME, but the prolonged AFTEREFFECTS of the shot & its 
unpredictability impact on one's daily schedule and TIME- versus the more 
predictable action of the pump, which enables one to dispense with living in 
the clutches of TIME-watching.....It's a difficult paradox to appreciate that 
by having this constant reminder of diabetes attached to oneself, one truly 
achieves a more liberating life style than if one "only" thinks about his 
diabetes when a shot is needed & then "hopes" that all the components fall 
into place!!!....
