Well, it seems to me to be easy enough to tell anyone who might be in a
position to observe what you are going to do, and ask them to look away
if it's going to bother them.

I've even done this on airplanes. In Economy class, seated next to total

I just don't see what the big deal is -- both DMers AND the queasy can
be accommodated if both cooperate.
