Marti... The bent needle is a 27gage needle about 5/8" long and a bend in it
so after Insertion it will lay flat against the body. The bend is in the 3/32
" of needle where the tubing is connected to tha needle. There is no pain to
speak of unless your in an area such as you described (scar tissue etc.).
Insertion is very much the same as taking a shot of insulin in the abdominal
area. I like them a lot and would really have to think about it before going
back to soft-sets. Ted...
