Re: [IP] need input on aquacize

When I was doing exercise regularly at first my BG was high but as the I
progressed, my sugars went down to the point where I ate 1/2 bannana before
the class. I have not continued with the aerobics as my knees gave me some
problems but recently started to train dogs again and the same thing happened.
Last night my BG was 90 when I started the class, at the end of the class it
was 238...Yikes!!! I'm just hoping all the exercise makes all the sugar that
is laying around in my toes and the far reaches of my brain has just decided
to let loose and pair with the additional insulin and BEGONE!!!!

Subject: [IP] need input on aquacize

well, I decided to enroll in an hour long water aerobics type of class.
I have tried just unhooking the pump, but got high BG results (perhaps the
stress of doing/meeting new stuff/people/routine?)

so this AM, when I went, I double checked the BG first, made a correction
(not
as much as I might if I had the Dexcom up and running (within range) and/or
knew I was going to be inactive, etc, still, it appears that I need most of
the missed basal for that hour

what kind of experiences if any has anyone on this list had with this kind of
activity/class/exercise?

I am having trouble figuring our how I can sweat in frigid water and work for
most of the hour and be exhausted and not get lower than I have....(old, fat,
out of shape ......lol)

I fully understand the YMwillV and for al the years/decades, I have been in
the same body with this case of Diabeasties, I have learned nothing else if
not the fact that nothing can be done twice with identical results ha
ha...that it all becomes a trial of hits and misses, and mild (hopefully)
modifications/tweaking, etc to obtain desired results/control...

thanks
