[IP] Diabetic Cat??

Why do you think your cat's diabetic? What are the symptoms? A simple mini
blood panel at
the vets will determine if that's the case. Hyperthyroidism and kidney
disease will also have some of the same symptoms: weight loss, polydypsia,
polyuria, etc. The typical BG range for a cat is similar for a human with a
little more allowance for stress caused at the vet's office which usually
makes the glucose go up due to stress. If you want, you could check your
kitty's BG yourself by poking her in the ear and testing with your meter.
Let us know what the BG is. I work as a Veterinary Technician (Kitty Nurse)
at a cat hospital.
