[IP] Re: Medical names and symbols.

Novo's Apis Bull logo, and names in the med. Field are mainly based in the
Latin or Greek.

Our "Diabetes" came from the ancient Greek for 'Siphon' "Diavitikos" and
Animus became Animas...Insulin came from innula and Islet (Small Island).

I found a nice history of the Caduseus and Star of Life (Used by the EMS and

At the med friendly site, off to the left is a Languages of origin...To go
directly there;

Pocket PC Use Windows CE, Home users, are using ME and business users use
NT. So if you are using Windows, you can get into CE ME NT which can become
very heavy. <VBG>
