Diabetes Forecast had something about "Licking fingertips after testing
may lead to uncommon infection." No link to the article.

on cuts iz different than on a puncture wound which seals over seconds after
the blade withdraws from the wound. i always lick. saliva contains natural
anti infective chemicals, probably why animals lick their wounds. when i
first read this i thought you wrote the dangers of using the tongue on cats.
