Yes Michael you are right about that.  I think I'd be more concerned about 
the baby than myself in a home birth.  What would one do if the baby's BS 
dropped after being born? (as it is sometimes known to do)  You'd need 
medical professionals there to deal with that.  Not that we shouldn't be 
concerned with the diabetic mom....that was just one issue that came to mind.
