ok, i'm somewhat confused. I've had my pump about a month now. i met with
the trainer last monday and went over  basic stuff. we meet again friday and
she's going to start with saline IF i can show her i have mastered the pump-
setting basal rates, temp basal, bolus and suspending (easy, i did all that
from the owners manual the first day i got my mm508). But my endo does the
live start on ALL his patients, and only on wed afternoons. and then he does
a site change with them the following fri. i can't start myself as he hasn't
prescribed the insulin yet, i'm still using premix (humalin 50/50 & humalog
75/25. if had the insulin, i'd do the live start myself after my appt
tomorrow with the trainer.
