[IP] RE:RE: Mastisol and QuickSets
I just recently started having problems with my tape all of a sudden not
sticking to me. I contributed it to me buying new soap. I switched to a
soap that has a lot of moisturizer in it. I believe this was preventing a
"good stick to my skin". I switched back to Ivory- no problem. Anyone else
notice this? It's an easy solution. I guess I wouldn't be putting skin so
soft on myself either:) Oh well, pricey you pay for a good adhesive stick!
BTW- I work out a lot and sweat a lot and that tape really sticks!

Before you try mastisol, try using and IV prep. When it dries, it
leaves a tacky surface that the tape will stick well to. My daughter
has used the stuff for years, plays soccer, swims etc...
The other method would be to use both IV prep then one of the clear
tapes such as IV3000 or Kendall (comes with the set usually), then
apply the set over the tape.
